A Lasting Legacy is built with every Charitable Trust

A Charitable Trust can provide for support in the donor's name for years to come.

Creating a charitable trust gives you the opportunity to make gifts and donations to the causes you wish to support. Charitable trusts typically survive the donor, so that the charity receives ongoing support in the donor's name for years to come. Many donors prefer ongoing support from their Charitable Trust as opposed to a one-time, lump-sum donation.

There are two primary types of charitable trusts: "charitable remainder trusts" (CRTs), which provide an income stream to the donor's family, with remaining assets to the charity after a period of time, and "charitable lead trusts" (CLTs), which provide a current stream of income to the charity for a period, with the remaining assets passing back to the donor or beneficiaries at the trust's termination.

Charitable trusts are usually irrevocable and designed to comply with tax laws to make best use of charitable tax deductions and credits. Please consult with your tax planning professional.
